Wonderful Alia, thank you for this journey in sound, from the first ‘bangless big bang’ to now, where you are typing codes and I am reading them and imagining the sounds of your words. I too am thinking about sound and how we listen to and hear the world around us. I loved the thought of the Earth humming. Can’t wait to read your story, so exciting. Have a lovely Easter and happy writing. Kate :)

Alia, I so love your writing. You are a poet. And I look forward to reading your stories on Earth Day. Now you've got me thinking about sound, music, the sounds that spring makes, and the impending summer. And the silences of winter. Thank you for reminding me that there are so many textures in this life, if we can only pay attention.

Thank you, Nancy. Your kind comment came at a good time. Textures is a lovely way of putting it. Enjoy your blossoming spring up north. To me, spring sounds like the sun peeping over the mountaintop in the morning and life rising up to meet the warmth of its rays. It's a joyful sound.

Don’t worry, your secret is safe with me.

Where did the Sisters In Crime come from? Did you land unseen and unnoticed in a spaceship to blend in with the human race? Or did you ride in on the surf from the oceanic immensity, in a big crimson seashell drawn by silvery, unicorn seahorses, striding ashore at dawn and conquering the Big Country without firing a shot? I’m not stroking your egos, as you are far too down-to-earth-and-wise to fall for that. I’m just speechless.

Haha, oh Rafael, your comments always give me a laugh. I'm not sure where Kate came from, she may well be Venus, but yeah, I was just born in a suburban hospital :)
